Year 5 pedestrian training

Year 5 children have been taking part in pedestrian training this week, learning important skills to help them stay safe when out and about. They practised how to stop, look and listen carefully before crossing the road, as well as how to choose safe places to cross, such as zebra crossings and traffic lights. The session encouraged them to think about road safety in real-life situations and reminded them of the importance of being alert and responsible as pedestrians. This training helped to build their confidence and independence, whilst giving parents peace of mind that the children understand how to cross the road safely.
